Why Geoscientist in Our Company Learns So Fast? #GGRP

When I finished the clarification meeting with our partner on the SP-1, my colleague  talked and reminded me. You got to be careful bringing your good technical people to this partner meeting. The partner were watching your people who showed a good talks. They might hijack your good people. Then, suddenly I realized this.

This company, that is now become our partner,  had hijacked many of our petroleum geoscientist. This year in 2012, they hijacked  3 of  our best people. One geologist with 6 years experience, one geophysicist with 5 years experience and one geologist with 3 years experience. This company has very busy project  in the coming years. There for they are so aggressive in hiring seasoned geoscientist.

Back to the title of this posting, back to  our company. Our company is a national oil company. It is a growing company with second largest P50 reserves in Indonesia. We work hard to monetize our reserves to become  production and revenue. But monetizing means we have to drill a lot of our prospects. It needs a lot of well proposal. Then it needs a lot of geoscience studies. It need a lot of #GGRP ( Geologist, Geophysicist, Resevoir and Production Engineer ).
