Every afternoon, crowded people go home from their work in Melibur oil field to their home in Merbau Island via the Teluk Belitung Jetty. Melibur Field is one of oil field in Padang Island in Malacca Straits Indonesia. Malacca Strait consist of several island. One of the island is Pulau Padang Island where some oil field were found and operated by Kondur Petroleum SA. People working in Melibur field come from different island which is called Merbau Island.
The picture above was taken in the aftenoon at teluk Belitung Jetty. The island in the back ground is Merbau Island. People from Teluk Belitung sails the Assam Strait to Merbau Island.
